It's Almost Over

Pretty soon I will be leaving my wonderful home. The place I love the most.

Every time I come home I learn to love my city more and more. I never thought it would happen, I always thought as soon as I left I wouldn't want to come back. But now I'm having second thoughts. Funny how some things work out.

It took me awhile to see the real beauty of Pittsburgh. Now I can't get enough.

But I'm looking forward to a new semester at school and seeing all my friends. Last night my sweets and I video-chatted and got some laughs in. I really looking forward to being back in my room with my sweets and hanging out in the bathroom and going through each others cabinets searching for food! Oh the life of a college student! My sweets and I already have plans the day we get back to go on our famous "teeter" runs and watch the hangover.

I must go and get ready for a fun night filled with dinner and the People's choice awards with some good friends!

I'll Be Home For Christmas

Christmas is always a big holiday for my family, we all get together on Christmas Eve and have an amazing dinner prepared by my aunt. I could not wait to see my cousins and do some catching up. We love taking pictures and fight about who gets to sit next to who at the dinner table. lCe, sCm, and I sat in the kitchen and enjoyed our meals while the grownups sat in the dinning room. We enjoyed the 7 fishes, pasta with shrimp, broccoli rolls, green beans, cheeses, mashes potatoes, and other various foods. But of course dessert was my favorite and I filled my plate with cookies, cakes, and fruit tarts.

 I hope everyone had a merry Christmas, now lets bring on the New Year!

Big Lights Will Inspire You

Let's hear it for New York

Last week I was able to go into NYC with my mom and our wonderful family friend. We went to watch p0f's adorable granddaughter mOs. I had SO much fun with that little cutie and boy did she make me laugh. We bundled up mOs  and went for a walk around the city.

Don't you just love the city life? Cars bumper to bumper and honking even when there is nowhere to go. The smells from the hot dog and pretzels stand. The street venders. People walking their dogs. Which reminds me of when we walked past a dog groomer/dog-sitting place and saw this...

Look at the left side of the picture. Let's just say the yorkies weren't behaving themselves. Have no fear I quickly covered up mOs 's eyes! Next it's time for lunch and pOf tells us we should go to Chelsea Market so we go and look around there. That's when I spotted this amazing display of lights

It was so amazing. And when you walked under the lights you could feel the heat! Now it's time to get back to the apartment and time to play!

"SANTAAAA! I know him, I know him!"

So sorry for not posting since last week but... Christmas is almost here! All those good little boys and girls only have a few more days till Santa Clause (or Ho Ho as he is called in my house) comes. I have to make a last minute shopping trip today and maybe I will stop by and take a picture with Santa... or maybe not.

I just love walking through malls and seeing all the Christmas decorations and those shoppers that run through the mall getting this year's hot ticket item. I just absolutely love Christmas.

So let the Christmas music play through my macbook as I pack for New Jersey and lets hope the mall isn't too busy and that I can get what I need to and be in and out.

Forever In My Heart

My best friend would have turned 20 today. We would have celebrated this together. We would have done a lot of things. But we only had 10 years to be together.

"We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another."

My cousin Paula died of a brain tumor when she was 10 years of age. Since then I have thought about all we would have done together and now being older it hits me everyday that she can't be there for me when I need her and that she isn't a phone call away. As I pack my things for home I think of how exciting it would have been for both of us to come home from college and share all our wonderful stories together. Of how we had to stay up late and study in the library and what we were planning to do that weekend. We could escape the boring adult conversations and drive away and do whatever we wanted. We could share good reads or discuss our recent purchases at the mall. We could lay out at the pool together and watch her younger sisters. We could discuss our crazy Italian family through facebook and video chat each other while enjoying late night snacks.
But I lost her and I will never be able to do these things with her. She won't be able to be in my wedding or see her sisters take their first joyride. I miss her everyday and all I can do is ask, "why?" I love you Paula so much and I wish I could call you right now so you could make me happy. I need you more than ever.

"The guardian angels of life fly so high as to be beyond our sight, but they are always looking down upon us. "

 And I just wish I would have had more time with you. Time where you could have grown up to be a wonderful girl that I know you would be. You are my angel and I love you. But I miss you and I want you here with me.

"I'll love you forever, I'll love you for always, As long as I'm living, My angel you'll be."

I'll never forget you.

So Long, Fair Well!!!

My Mommy told me that once I turned 20 I was no longer allowed to like Miley Cyrus. My mom said she was too young and a teeny bopper. I thought that this would be the end of the world. How could I ever NOT like SMILEY?? I mean... she is just so awesome.

Well news flash! I CAN'T STAND HER ANYMORE!!! Mommy was right! No more liking Miley Cyrus for this girl! I have graduated on to better disney stars like Demi Lovato oh and Nick Jonas and the Administration (:

{Plus as my sweet puts it: "She looks like a homeless person with a mustache."}

{you were drinking at your 17th birthday party, you're so cool}

Every Christmas I like to invest in a new perfume, this year I'm thinking Juicy Couture or Lola by Marc by Marc Jacobs. One perfume I will definitely NOT be getting is the awful scent some girl just sprayed all over herself in the library.

{also, note those awesome TOMS}

Oh Brother.

"I smile because you are my brother. I laugh because there is nothing you can do about it."

Brother likes watching Gossip Girl. And now he is listening to Glee Cast songs. Big Brother sends me youtube videos on facebook and sends me texts that say "love you." But he sends it after he makes fun of me.
He is really great. And he is mine.

"It was nice growing up with someone like you. Someone to lean on, someone to count on, and of course someone to tell on."
