I was told I should be a birthday princess for Halloween since I will actually be dressing up on my birthday. This is because I have a field hockey game Nov. 1 in Tennessee and the team and I will be traveling all day on Halloween. I'm not too fond of the princess costume so instead,

My wonderful friend j.C.m. has turned TWENTY! Happy Birthday to you Jodi! I am so blessed to call you a friend and know that you will always be there for me no matter what. I look forward to the days and nights that we spend together and all of our "coffee talks." You are so special me and I am so happy we met. While we have only know each other for a year it seems like a lifetime and I know it will turn out to be just that. We have the best talks and you can always make me laugh. I love that I can see you at school and back home where we are only 25 minutes from each other.

The shuttle is taking me to Raleigh so I can wait 4 hours till my 3:30 pm flight. Luckily I stocked up on magazines, books, and I made a fantastic playlist.

A Little Obsessed with Shoes

This weekend while my parents were here we went out to Friendly Center in Greensboro which is an outside shopping center. I was able to pick up a pair of pink Steve Madden Flats that have a ribbon of ruffles by the toes. My dad said no more ruffles for my fall wardrobe. Sorry Dad that J.Crew only does ruffles!

Saturday we went out to Charlotte to the South Park Mall... best decision of my life! I needed to get flats to this upcoming fall season because all my flats from last season got destroyed by the salt from the winter months. I was able to pick up on these beauties:

This was the big purchase of the day and an early 20th birthday present from my wonderful Nani. I finally own a pair of Tory Burch Snake Print Reva Ballerina Flats!!

This was the fun purchase of the weekend. My reason for this purchase is that being almost 20 years of age I need to ditch the flats and boots once in awhile and slip on a pair of heels. Every girl does it, so I can too! I bought these Steve Madden Regaal heels in Fushia Suede but of course neither Nordstrom or Steve Madden show that color online. But trust me... it's the best color. So I guess I better start wearing them... in my room. Hey, I need some practice in them before I can actually wear them out!

The next shoe purchase I also picked up at Nordstrom like the Steve Madden heels. These are Jeffrey Campbell Haley flats and they are really comfortable. I needed a little something extra rather than a boring silver flat.

This last purchase will bring out my wild side. Lets just hope they are as comfortable as they were wore the 2 minutes I tried them on. I love these B.P. Frankie shoes and it's the perfect way to top a fall outfit!

Parent's Weekend!

OCTOBER IN FINALLY HERE!!!!

My favorite month of the year has arrived. Last night I stayed up watching 3 clocks in my room change to 12:00 am. My phone and i-touch were the most exciting to watch because I got to see it change from September 29th to OCTOBER 1st! I have made it to my birthday month! Only 29 days and counting till I am TWENTY! I don't think anyone else gets as excited as I do for October. Last night as I was waiting for the clocks to change I got out a few Halloween decorations, my roommate asked me if it was really necessary to do this at 12 in the morning. I told her absolutely.

My parents are leaving today to come down and visit for Parent's Weekend. And I am so excited to see them. It's been too long! I can't wait to go into Charlotte and shop and then over to Friendly Center for some nice outside shopping. Luckily field hockey was cancelled tomorrow thanks to me for suggesting it.

And did anyone watch Glee last night? It was AMAZING! I absolutely love that show and can't wait to see the next episode. Now I must go and listen to last night's songs on repeat as I clean my room for my parents.
