Wake up Potter, we're going to the zoo!!!

This past weekend my roommate and I went to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro. To tell you that we were excited is an understatement. There was lots of screaming when we saw the sign and we had our cameras out the whole time. The weather was a perfect 60 degrees.

Fashion Icons: Hanna Uggla and Elina Casell

Hanna and Elina are Swedish cousins that created a blog to stay in touch with each other. Little did they know, their blog would become became a hit in the world of fashion! Hanna is a student studying International Management and Elina is living it up in Chicago with her NHL boyfriend. {So naturally I wish I was Elina.} Their looks are very daring for my preppy ways but I would love to wear their fabulous clothes.
Take a look for yourself:

Meet Elina:
{With multiple hair color changes.}

Meet Hanna:

I'm absolutely obsessed with the way they tuck in the front part of their shirts and their skinny leather leggings. What do you think? Too wild for your style?

Check out H and E here.
{Don't forget to change the text from Swedish to English!}

Picture of the Week.

Gossip Girl here. I spy with my little eyes Sweet Caroline taking up couponing at Liberty Steakhouse. Is the Queen Bee really following her favorite Kardashian's crazy ways?

Well in all honesty I did try and swipe coupons from a newspaper that was left at the bar. The only problem is that there weren't any coupons to be found! I'm definitely not going to be one of the crazies but the coupon crazies are all over Harris Teeter! They're out there and I'm going to give it a try!

Best BBQ in the South Y'All

Welcome to the cash-only Kepley's!
This BBQ is my all time favorite in North Carolina. Kepley's is a tiny little restaurant with 10 booths and a small bar area. It's owned by an elderly man who my friends and I have nicknamed "Grandpa Kepley." He is the sweetest man and always comes to your table and asks if you're enjoying your meal.

Kepley's Barbeque Sauce, BBQ and Slaw, and Hush Puppies.
AMEN!

J. Crew Lovin' Happened So Fast

Scalloped Skirt??? I NEED!

Obsessed with J.Crew shoes.

I have never ever...EVER been a fan of wearing sperry's.
I like them on everyone else but I can't see myself wearing them.
That's until these beauties came out.

Super Cute!

J. Crew is back and better than ever! Finally all the preppy styles are stocking the shelves at J. Crew. The only thing that I wish would get better is the jewelry. Fingers crossed for better jewels!

Tag Questions:

1. Where do you see yourself a year from today?

A year from today I hope to be happy with whatever I'm doing. I hope that I continue to dream about my future life and remain close with the friends I have today.

2. Do you have your future children's names picked out?

If you know me then you'll know I'm obsessed with children and can't wait for the day that I have children of my own. So of course I have a list on my iPhone. I may or may not have a Baby Names App...

3. What is your favorite part about where you live?

The view that I get when I come out of the tunnel!

4. What is your favorite color and why?

PINK! DUH! Because it's fun and feminine.

5. What is your best memory?

I'm not sure what my best memory is because I have so many. But, a fun memory is when I was getting my ears pierced. My best friend and I were getting our ears pierced right at the same time so we had countdowns on our desk. I remember going to a baseball game the night of and being so nervous and excited once the game ended. I went to a friend's house where her dad pierced my ears with a needle! My mother was making all kinds of noises so that didn't help! So now every time I put earrings on I think about that night!

6. What is your worst memory?

My worst memory was when my neighbors put their dog to sleep. I had been dog sitting for them for a few years and the weekend that he was put to sleep I was away. It was sad because I wasn't able to say goodbye to him. He was the closest thing I had to knowing what it was like to owning a dog. And now I will never own a yellow lab because I want my only memory of labs to be with him.

7. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Besides graduating from High School and getting into College my greatest achievement would be when I scored the first goal for the first High Point Field Hockey team. It was so exciting! My first college game and I scored the first goal ever! That is something I will definitely always remember.

8. What is the meanest thing you've ever said to anyone?

Not sure I'll share the meanest thing but when I was younger I went to my Grandmother's hair salon and decided it would be a good idea to pinch the owner's granddaughter. I'm pretty sure there was no reason why I did it, I just did it. Neadless to say my Grandmother was mortified and the owner's granddaughter cried and told on me. I remember not really caring that I was in trouble because soon after that, the owner let me pick something out in the store. I obviously picked out a little purse. All in all it was a great day for me.

9. What is your #1 deal breaker in a relationship?

I don't like when a guy likes me more than I like him. I feel like things are rushed and it freaks me out if I feel like I've already won the guy. I'm all about playing games in the beginning. Blair Waldorf is my idol for this reason.

10. What is the one movie you can watch over and over agin and never
get tired of it?

HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS!!!! I live by this movie! It's the greatest!

11. Who is your, hands down, best friend?

Chaptown Cheerio and I have been best friends since Kindergarten! {She's the one I had the ear piercing countdown with!}
