A Little Obsessed with the Olympics.

The olympics have been on in our suite since they started and it is so exciting to watch! USA has been performing amazingly. I just don't want the winter games to end :( 

Team USA and Team Canada play each other for the gold on Sunday. My heart is torn.

Little Grey Dress

I've gotten a little behind on my posts from last week and this week and I apologize. Last Saturday HPU hosted a Snowball Dance that I attended with my girlfriends. We had so much and we can't wait till the next one. I loved getting dressed up and putting on my heels {even if they came off as soon as I got to the hotel.} My good friend C did our hair and it was so wonderful. For my hair, she twisted the sides and brought them to the back to form a twisted bun. I was so glad my hair was up because the dance floor was so hot!

The music that was played was decent, I wish we could have requested songs. Some of the songs that were played were: tik tok, bedrock, meet me halfway, just dance, and 3. I felt that the dj played older music and I wasn't happy but I made the best out of it. Chicken tenders, fruit, vegetables, and cheese and crackers were served... THANK THE LORD because I was so hungry and the chicken was {at that time} the best thing I have ever had. 

All in all it was a successful night and my girlfriends and I created memories that we will never forget.

Today is Ash Wednesday and surprisingly enough I have only seen one person on my campus wearing ashes on her forehead. This girl is my friend. She is a saint and woke up for 7 am mass. AMEN. 

This weekend my parents came down to spend some time with me. It was so much fun and now I can start my countdown for spring break. I'm just going home but I am so excited to see my best friends. {16 days}

Once again, we drove to Charlotte because lets face it, High Point, Greensboro, and Winston Salem... BEEN THERE, DONE THAT. Charlotte was wonderful as usual and I enjoyed every minute of it. 

Luckily for me, J. Crew got in a new shipment and of course I just couldn't pass that up!

Girls' flower headband                                        {Because you can NEVER can enough HB... so I got two.} Well now it is time to get ready for an indoor fh practice. But the good news is that we will be having an outdoor practice on Friday! And then on February 27 HPU will host a home game against Elon. Lets hope I don't pushed again... {la, la, laaa turf burn is my friend.} PANTHERS OUT.

My parents are coming this on friday for family weekend.

I could not be more EXCITED!

Plus it gives them a chance to get away from all the snow they got in the 'Burgh.

Tik Tok Like A Clock

We are now only days away until the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the anticipation is killing me. 

This year my Pittsburgh Penguins are coming up big. They are proud to support their countries but the question is... WHO DO I ROOT FOR?

Obviously I want USA to win the gold. But... on February 21st at 7:45 pm my heart will be torn during the USA vs. Canada Men's Ice Hockey Game.

Winter Wonderland

This past weekend NC got a "blizzard." It was a huge deal and everyone went to Teeter to stock up on food. being from PA I knew this storm would be a joke. We got about 5 inches which would have been a delay at my high school but here at High Point classes were pretty much cancelled on Monday. It was such a nice way to start the week. This picture was taken in my Student Center at school. I thought it was really neat:

Because we were "snowed in" my roommate and I decided to do some crafting, this is what I created:

Then, at night I went to dinner at my school's STEAKHOUSE! It's even located in my dorm. How lucky am I? At 1924 Prime you get an appetizer, main course, and a dessert. I had the grilled portobello mushroom with pancetta, grilled salmon with garlic mash potatoes, and for dessert I had a chocolate molten cake with fresh fruit! The food was great and a nice way to end the day with my roommates.
