A Pop of Color

Last week the weather was pretty chilly, but I managed to wear a light sweater and put my leather jacket on to add some warmth. My outfit was grey, black, and white. While I loved the outfit itself, I knew I needed to add a pop of color. Thanks to my J.Crew scarf I was able to do just that!

This week is packed with projects being due, classes to attend, observations in elementary schools, babysitting, and trying to keep my social life. Nicki Minaj is going to get me through this week and then it's home on Friday! Hopefully I can find the time to do my laundry, clean the apartment and pack!

Rocking To The Beat

Introducing Urban Ears Headphones! I was in the market for a new pair of headphones and while I desperately wanted buy the Beats by Dr. Dre I had to be a little more realistic. $299.95 is a little too much to be spending right now, so maybe they'll be my big summer splurge. I went to Nordstrom during Christmas break and came across all these different colored boxes. I checked them out and then went to the Urban Ears website and fell in love. Thanks to my loyal friend, Santa for bringing them to me! I love, love, looove them!

Not only are the colors fun but they block out all the outside noise! I wear them in the library which is great because not everyone uses their inside voices. And I love how they have the remote feature on the cord! Anddd Urban Ears allows you to plug in another set of headphones to share the music.

Santa brought me the Plattan headphones in Raspberry.

{Unfortunately the color is now retired.}

And $60 is A LOT better than $299.95 and the sound is great. 

No more Apple headphones for this girl!

Weekend Fun

My weekend started a little early when I received my Valentine's Day package from my parents.

Of course it included some goodies from J.Crew. 

Breakfast on Friday morning.

Saturday I went shopping with a friend and I was graced with this special on foursquare.

I never understood the purpose of using the app until I got this discount.

Andddd the lady at Swoozies gave me 20% off instead of 10%.

Picture Update

This past weekend I went out for dinner and drinks with my roommate from last year. We got all dressed up and then headed to one of her favorite restaurants and now one of mine too! We headed into Jamestown and went to a small restaurant called Southern Roots. I had heard so many wonderful things about this restaurant but never got the chance to go, so when my roommate, Olivia, asked me I was so excited.

Emma Graham Spring Line 2012
