Happy Monday! I'm back from Myrtle Beach,
sun kissed and wishing I didn't leave. I had never been there but I had heard great things so I was excited to see what this beach was like. We left Thursday morning and packed the car as if we were going on a month's vacation. At least we didn't forget anything!
Before hitting the road we stopped at a local restaurant called
The Dog House. It's definitely a new favorite and perfect for college students because everything on the menu is under $5! And the Sweet Tea is AMAZING.
(Not to mention the 2 hot dogs and fries I got.) I have to take my mom and dad there when they come pick me up next month. I even got some to go!
Check out the old cash register!
We listened to some mixes that were probably made when we were in high school and maybe even middle school. I didn't care for much of the country songs but luckily we switched to my ipod. We sang the whole way down and shared quite a lot of laughs. Our co-pilot did some site seeing and snapped this picture from my iphone.
{I guess he was a little impatient to wait behind the gate.}
We were suppose to get a huge thunderstorm Saturday but luckily the storm only lasted for an hour so we laid poolside for 2 days and got a little too much sun, but it was so worth it! We were so lucky because there was a tornado watch in High Point and a few touched down in Raleigh.
More of my trip tomorrow. And let's not forget what tonight is, drumroll please...
GOSSIP GIRL RETURNS!
Team Dark Knight.
