When The Fray Came To North Carolina

This past weekend The Fray came to my school for our Spring Concert. I don't have a lot of songs by them so I was a bit hesitant but the concert was really good and nice to have a popular group come to High Point. It was the final farewell in our room, so we made sure to take lots of pictures to remember our fun night.

My Weekend In Pictures

Easter Weekend is always a nice time to stay at school and enjoy the empty campus. I was able to always find a parking spot in the front of my dorm, always get a lounge chair at the pool, and never have to wait in line for food. It was peaceful and a much needed weekend of rest before I get ready for the craziness that's about to hit campus.

My parents treated me to a massage which was phenomenal and I can't wait to get another one! After the massage, I drove to Charlotte with a friend to hit my favorite mall.

The Yogurt Obsession has definitely hit NC and while I do love frozen yogurt it's just not the same as ice cream. So naturally I load my yogurt up with carmel sauce and plenty of chocolate chips.

I made brunch with some friends on Easter Sunday. It was fabulous. I ate one too many strawberries but after giving up sweets for lent I couldn't help myself.

Oh and I got glasses the other day. 

Obviously another accessory to add to my wardrobe.

And it's playoff season for the NHL.

Weekend Fun

There was lots of singing and dancing in my apartment this weekend and a lovely performance of Aaron Carter's "Aaron's party" by yours truly. I'm still waiting on those fabulous pictures to be uploaded. It was a great way to end a busy week by enjoying the company of my friends and sharing a glass of wine over laughter.

Fun little story for you: I had to go to the ER to get a piercing removed. not fun at all but hilarious all the same. I got my tragus pierced which I was absolutely obsessed with. I had it for about 2 weeks and then one morning I woke up and the earring was gone, cue mental breakdown, throwing things around my room, and lots of tears. 6 hours later I finally calmed down and realized I had to see what was causing my ear so much pain. My friends tried to pull the backing out but it was stuck and I couldn't deal with the pain anymore so we were off to the ER. Besides the horrible pain I was in, my friend A kept me laughing through the whole traumatic experience. And believe it or not, my skin had grown over the earring so I had to get my teeny tiny tragus numbed and sliced open to find the earring and take it out. I left the ER with stitches and a new bracelet! (Yes, I do mean a hospital bracelet but... at least it was monogrammed!)

Instagram Fun

As if Facebook, Twitter, and blogging isn't enough communication for people, there is now Instagram. I've had this app for a year now but have just gotten into the swing of taking "artsy" pictures. Yes, yes, yes the Disney Princess is my newest obsession! Her wardrobe is simply sweet and she has such charm about her. I love her style and how it looks so effortless yet chic.
