Today I had a wonderful Retail Therapy day with Miss Jodi at the Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale. Jodi found some great buys but of course everything I liked was full price. But luckily for me I felt better after only once purchase. I finally bought the large le pliage Longchamp Bag in the classic black. I bought it for my school bag but I know it will have so many other uses and I'm so happy with my purchase that I think I will bring it with me to babysit tonight!
Jodi, I found out LOVES to dance. Jodi was spotted dancing all throughout Nordstrom and I got the biggest laugh out of it. While we were at the cafe we spotted a little chub of a baby girl. Jodi asked the father what her name was...Atalade. Now I don't know if that's how they spelled it but that's my best guess. So to remember the name Jodi came up with a little rhyme: "Atalade, Matalade, Lemonade." It's very helpful, no??
One shopping trip in Greensboro Jodi played a song called, "Don't Trust Me" by 30H!3, I immediately fell in love with it and we often play it when we are together. There is a line that goes, "do the Helen Keller, and talk with your hips." Both of our moms think it's awful but it just so happens that a girl Jodi babysits for loves it and sings along... "do the heston stester"
And now it's pouring down rain and I have to walk over to my neighbor's to babysit.
Okay, only super attractive people with super attractive children/babies can pull off the celebrity baby names, because they usually have superb taste.
ReplyDeleteWell of course! Because Svetlana and Alexei are such classic names as is Leighton Grace. ahahahah
